Hayden's Story
Hayden Hunstable died by suicide on April 17, 2020, just four days before his 13th birthday, during the COVID-19 stay-at-home period. His family has shared his story to bring attention to the pressures young people can face when routine, connection and support are suddenly disrupted.
Hayden's Corner was created to turn that story into action.
Today, Hayden's Corner is focused on two issues the Hunstable family believes can help better support kids and families.
BUILD RESILIENCE
Advocate for resilience and social-emotional learning to become part of K–12 education.
PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE GAMING
Educate kids and parents about responsible gaming and encourage stronger oversight around youth gaming.
